From 12 to 16 August Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian chess players gathered to try themselves in the “Zacharovana Desna” tournament at the Desna banks, in the glorious city of Chernihiv.

Yes, this exciting tournament has passed exactly on the banks of the Desna.

 The place for the competition was kindly provided by tourist complex "Zolotoy Bereg".

 Forty members born in 1994 and older competed in Group A tournament.

Among them, master of sport - Anatoliy Nesterets, 23 candidates for masters of sport and 16 first grade players.

Among the participants we must mention the veteran of Chernihiv chess game Oleg Yurasov, who continues to play in the tournament in his 76, showing great results. Children trainer Valeriy Plaksin, participating in various tournaments always takes high places.

Winners and prize winners were awarded medals, diplomas and money awards. The Rewarding was held by Yuri Dmytrovych Kutsenko, chief referee.
